These drum breaks all have the ideal tempo of 170 BPM, were sampled through my Amigo Sampler on Desktop, then I exported with additional Time Stretched versions that give you the Authentic Amiga and Akai Time Stretch combination.

Each Koala Song also comes with several sequenced examples demonstrating the versatility of each Koala Pack. I arranged the sequences to give you a head start. Go ahead and alter the sequenced beats to your own taste, or make your own with relative ease.

You also get authentic bass, lush pads, rasta voices, and jungle FX sounds to layer with your drum breaks and make full Jungle DnB tracks.

Some history: The Amiga computer was popular during the 90s, when owning a studio could be extremely expensive, whereas the cost of an Amiga was much more affordable to produce music with its sampling capabilities. The sounds are renowned for the crunch and antialiasing of waveforms that gave the music and distinctive tone and character. The Amiga itself was not capable of time stretching, so producers turned to hardware samplers such as the Akai 9500 that allowed time stretching. Recently I bought Amigo sampler VST for my desktop computer which delivers an identical sound to the Amiga PAULA chip and Akai time stretching waveforms. With this technology I’ve compiled a large set of sounds (over 700 equaling 11 Koala Song Files) for you to use in your own Jungle and DnB projects.

I’ll expand the collection of sounds at no extra cost as soon as I have redeemed some of my time and money spent on this project. This year I will add Koala Sampler packs to this bundle and you’ll be able to login and download those new sound packs with no extra cost.
